About Ascent Images

Ascent Images was formed in 2004 by Jon Fuller along with some family and friends who were all keen travellers, climbers and adventurers. Between them they had a huge library of images from around the globe.

Ascent Images is a division of Rayzume Software Ltd.

Digital Imaging
To ensure consistent quality, quick turnaround time and keen pricing we only sell digital images. These are scanned from the 35mm originals (see below) or occasionally originate from professional quality digital cameras.

Scanned Images
These are scanned from the original 35mm transparencies or negatives at 4000dpi using high-end Nikon CCD based scanners. These scans are suitable for 99% of end users. However, if images are required at a higher resolution or if the client particularly wants drum scanned images then this can be arranged for an extra fee. Contact sales for more information.

Images from Digital Cameras
Images submitted for the image bank that originate from digital camersa will only be accepted if:
a) The camera CCD is at least 6 megapixels and;
b) The camera is of a suitable quality, preferably an SLR.

Pricing
The image pricing depends on the intended use, the size of the print run and the distribution area. We aim to be competitive and offer good value for money. Prices start at 50GBP.

Payment
Payment for non-account holders is by cheque or credit card in GB pounds. We accept Mastercard and VISA.

Delivery
We can send high resolution JPEG images by email, or as TIFF files on compact discs.
